Eire Og Sevilla

Seville, Seville, Spain

About

Eire Og Seville was formed on St Patrick’s Day in 2009. We play in green and red jerseys, black shorts and black socks. We train twice a week at San Jerónimo’s club de rugby, which is located in the north of the city. Andalusian Champions in 2013 and 2015, our male team competes annually in the Andalusian Championship against the Gibraltar Gaels and Marbella’s Costa Gaels. Also, our players have also represented Andalusia in the Iberian Championships on numerous occasions. Eire Og has strong ties to both the local and expatriate community in both Seville and its surrounding neighbourhoods, we’ve recently began promoting the sport to local schools and even showcased the sport during a half time exhibition in Sevilla FC’s Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán Stadium! Our club currently fields both a men’s and ladies team, and we are working hard to eventually field a local juvenile team. In addition, we combine occasionally with Marbella and Gibraltar to play Hurling as the Andalusian Vandals. We now have members from Ireland, Spain, the UK, Australia, mainland Europe and the US. In addition, we also regularly hold social events in between training and competition. All ages and skill levels are welcome!
