On November 5, 2012, the first Meco Earrings begin to be seen. After contacts with people from the Gaelic world we decided to create a Facebook profile with very good results and popular support. On November 24, he decided to take the step of team creation. The path was not easy but on December 22, 2012 the workouts begin at the end. On March 9, 2013 the Club Mecos FG together with the clubs A Coruña Breogán and Irmandinhos da Estrada children are involved in the creation of the Galician Football Association of Galicia that designs and puts the first official Galician competition, the Galician League of 7 against 7, from which the mecos will take part. On March 16, 2013, vispera of San Patricio, the Irish national holiday par excellence, took place the historical event of the beginning of the first Galician League of Gaelic Football although in "sevens" format. On March 23, 2013 we finally witnessed our first game and this coincided with our premiere in the Galician League against Ártabros de Oleiros, the second oldest team in our country. Our guys started very well but in the second half we paid our inexperience clearly and ended up losing it by giving a very good image and drawing praise and good words about our game. On April 13 our debut took place in the Iberian Championship, our rivals were San Vicente de Valencia, Madrid Harps and Irmandinhos da Estrada. In the first two games we could not face two puzzles of Irish players and even some with a player All Ireland between their players but in the third game we were able to dispute it until the last minute, although we were also defeated. On April 20 finally our debut home debut took place, this was in a friendly match against the Irmandinhos da Estrada. It was played two games one to 11 and another to 7, in the first one the best knowledge of the mode of the Estradenses was imposed but in the second came our first victory in a modality to sevens in which little by little we are achieving better results. Our first victory in the Galician League of 7 against 7 could not be before a better rival since it took place against the Bráithreachas de la Estrada that at that time were the current leaders. Finally the Bráithreachas would be champions and the Charms we have the honor to say that neither the champions nor the runners-up have been with us in this first Galician League. If something was clear in this meeting and that the Mecos FG arrived to stay and that we will soon give a lot of talk. On June 22 we finished our first Galician League in which despite the setbacks we reached a commendable 4th place, being the only team that scored against the champion and the runner-up. On July 27, 2013, it was another time to score in gold in our history, that day the Mecas debuted in a friendly match against the Irmandinhas. The result was the least, despite all our players achieved a commendable tie.
