Founded in 2003, Clann na hOman has always been a very welcoming GAA club and prides itself on being a multinational club with more than 10 different nationalities representing our teams this year, including American, Canadian, Australian, English, Scottish and Omani amongst others. With the addition of new recruits, both men's and women's teams - competing in the Middle East intermediate league - are optimistic about the season and are looking forward to testing themselves against the region's best. This season also saw Clann na hOman host Round 2B of the league for the second year in a row, where 16 teams competed in both men's and women's football competitions. As our club continues to expand we have been fortunate to be able to introduce hurling and Australian Football League (AFL) to Oman for the first time, as well as thriving juvenile section. Membership of the club spans a range of nationalities, ages and backgrounds, and everyone will find something that they enjoy in the club.
