A ball bought in Ireland and a couple of friends gave birth to a new sports adventure. Since that fateful 2nd June 2011 nobody has played Gaelic football in Italy. Day by day passion, sweat and fatigue have contributed to fulfil a dream that seemed impossible. It took time and patient but the guys of New Ascaro Rovigo asd believed it and took their Gaelic football throughout the Peninsula till Puglia. They visited Ireland, land of this ancient game, played in Netherlands, France and Germany. They have known Europe and have been recognised by Europe and today Ascaro’s logo looks great on the Club Wall of Croke Park in Dublin, the temple-stadium of sports handled by Gaelic Athletic Association.
