The Gwened Vannes Gaelic Football was founded in August 2008. The work association for the promotion and development of Gaelic football in the country of Vannes. The club is affiliated to the Federation of Gaelic Football, under the aegis of the GAA (Gaelic Athletic Association), which manages all European clubs via the ECB (European County Board). Club’s mascot is the Toucan, the bird emblem of the famous Irish beer brand Guinness, the club’s colors are plum and orange. in practice: the drives are held weekly and the club participates in various friendly matches and tournaments, including those of the Breton League of Gaelic Football. The club is also required to organize or attend meetings, exchanges and trainings around the Gaelic Football (coaches training, arbitration, initiations and interventions in schools …).
