St. Lawrence's Gaelic Football Club was formed in Novemeber 1980 and immediately established a strong underage development programme in order to progress as a major team within the highly competitive County of Lancashire. We eventually claimed our first Senior Championship in 1998 with the foothold of the team having been developed by our successful youth policy. We were the first Lancashire team to win the Pennine League since its establishment and are the only team within the County to have won The Double (both Junior & Senior Championships 1998) and The Treble (All three senior titles 2003) in any one season! We play our home games at Turn Moss Playing Fields in Manchester and cater for all age groups. We take pride in our commitment to the development of Gaelic sports at an underage level and field teams at U10, U12, U14, U16, U18, U21, Junior & Senior categories. We also have strong links with neighbouring schools and universities and a local Aussie Rules Club. The Club prides itself on traditional "family values" and often organise social events to bring all people involved with the Club together. We also arrange yearly excursions to Ireland & Europe to enhance the links that the Club has with different countries. Click on our Picture Gallery to see more. We are always on the look out for new players so if you are interested in joining St. Lawrences, either to play football or just for the craic.
