The Allentown Hibernians Hurling Club was founded to promote the Traditional Irish Sport of Hurling in the Lehigh Valley and surrounding areas. The club supports the belief of the founding members of the Gaelic Athletic Association that sports are a unique part of Irish Culture and Society. The club is a full member of the North American County Board of the GAA and believes in the aims and ethos of this organization. The club is entirely amateur and dedicated to the well being of youth in and out of the sport. The club will encourage youth participation in the sport and foster full participation, fair play and physical fitness. The members of the team are dedicated to playing by the rules of this ancient game and leaving the pitch after every match, win or lose, with a sense of pride and honor.
